Micro Exfoliating Face Polish

Below is a basic breakdown of some of the ingredients used in this face polish.  Please refer to the "Ingredients" tab for the full ingredient list.  

FINE VOLCANIC PUMICE 

One of nature’s most gentle yet effective exfoliators, fine pumice powder is made from mineral-rich volcanic rock. It’s been used for centuries to cleanse, detoxify and rejuvenate the skin. Due to its ability to gently slough away dead skin cells, it can also help to unclog pores and reduce the appearance of blackheads and whiteheads.

ORGANIC ALOE VERA 

The healing properties of aloe are well documented. Rich in vitamins A, C, E and B12, this antioxidant-rich nutrient is a powerful skin hydrator and soother. It also has anti-inflammatory properties which makes it especially useful for those with acne, eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions.

ORGANIC ROSEWATER 

A soothing, hydrating, balancing ingredient with wonderful anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to keep the skin at its most optimal pH, which in turn helps to protect the natural moisture barrier. It has been used as a skincare staple for centuries around the world, and has stood the test of time. 

ORGANIC STRAWBERRY FRUIT POWDER 

Strawberry fruit is rich in vitamin C, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA),  polyphenols, and skin-renewing enzymes. Due to its slightly acidic pH, it also helps to combat oily skin in a gentle, non-drying manner. 

SHEA BUTTER 

Shea butter is a skin supertood derived from the seeds of shea fruit trees in Africa. It provides the skin with essential fatty acids and nutrients. Not only is it incredibly nourishing, but it’s known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which is why it's often used to help with inflammatory skin conditions like acne, eczema and dermatitis. 

HIBISCUS FLOWER EXTRACT

Obtained from the flowers of the hibiscus plant, this extract has wonderful cleansing, brightening and hydrating properties. Rich in antioxidants and exfoliating alpha-hydroxy acids, it can help to smooth, balance, and brighten the complexion. 

Apply a small amount to clean skin (for stronger exfoliation skin should be dry). Rub in a circular motion, focusing on areas that need the most exfoliation. Rinse off, then pat dry. Some slight redness is normal and will dissipate quickly. 
Use 1-2 times weekly.
For best results, follow with toner, serums and/or moisturizer. 

*Freshly exfoliated skin is the perfect canvas for absorbing all of the beneficial ingredients from your skincare products! 

If you experience redness easily, it may be better to exfoliate at night. Your skin will have a longer time to recover.  Exfoliating in the evening can also help to increase the efficiency of skin cell turnover, resulting in a clearer complexion and fresher, healthier skin in the morning. 

PLEASE NOTE: Exfoliation makes the skin more vulnerable to sun damage. It is advised to apply SPF if you plan on going outdoors soon after using this product.
